Hello, I'm Dr. Lydiana García, a licensed bilingual psychologist in California and Florida, Family Constellations facilitator, and author of Transforma tu Herida Materna: Cómo sanar lo que no comenzó contigo (Diana/Planeta Publisher). I work with high-achieving women who carry a great deal. You may be the eldest daughter, biologically or by the role you took on. You may be the first in your family, the first-generation one, the first to build this kind of life or accomplish what those before you could not. In one way or another, you became the one who comes through, who resolves, who holds everyone together. And still, there are moments when your body says: I don't feel safe yet. I don't fully trust myself yet. Something still feels unfinished. From the outside, you have it together. Inside, there is a tiredness that rest does not fix. You carry a weight that did not begin with you, in your body, your relationships, your sense of self, and you are ready to stop resolving everyone else's lives and return to your own. I come from traditional clinical training, but I have never believed healing lives inside one model. My work brings together EMDR, CBT, somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, family constellations, inner child work, ancestral healing, spirituality, and embodiment. We do not stay only at the level of insight or coping. We slow down enough to listen to what your body, history, relationships, and life are showing us. This work is not about fixing you. It is about helping you set down what is not yours and return to your body, truth, self-trust, and inner authority. Over time, therapy can support more clarity, grounding, agency, and a deeper sense of ownership in how you relate to yourself, your relationships, and your life. I also offer bilingual psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for ADHD, learning concerns, IQ, IEP/504 plans, accommodations, and diagnostic clarity for children ages 6+, teens, college students, and adults.
